“The Best Of All Possible Worlds” — The Highwaymen

Kris Kristofferson is allowed to temporarily steal the spotlight from supergroup mates Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings on this rendition of his honkytonk stomp named after the theological concept of plenitude posited by 17th-century German philosopher Gottfried Leibniz, perhaps an acknowledgement by the boys that this concert at Globen in Stockholm, Sweden is a homecoming for Kris to the land of his ancestry.  Because I’m enjoying the art and science of blogging so much, I’ve decided to drop a bomb on my readers by offering a free download of the entire March 1992 Highwaymen performance from which this song was culled.  You’re now a simple orange hyperlink click away from owning this classic show.  Special thanks to The Australian and the Great American Music Archive for the use of their file share apparatus.
